Microsoft 365 & Azure Security Hardening

You already pay for Microsoft security. We make it actually work.

We configure, harden, and document Microsoft 365 and Azure security for organisations across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. We align your technical controls with national and international regulations, without selling licences or bloating your technology stack.

Independent by Design

We do not sell licences. We are an engineering and advisory practice, not a software reseller or licensing partner. Because we do not sell Microsoft licences or third-party software, we have no quota to satisfy and no commercial incentive to push upgrades. If your existing subscription covers your regulatory requirements, we configure what you have. If an additional licence tier is necessary to meet a specific requirement, we tell you plainly so you can procure it through your preferred provider. Our only focus is making your security configurations work.

The Honest Problem

Most Microsoft 365 tenants are switched on, not set up.

Subscribing to Microsoft 365 or Azure gives you access to capable security technologies. But purchasing licences does not protect your organisation. In default configurations, critical security features remain unconfigured:

Legacy Authentication Exposed

Legacy authentication protocols remain open to password spraying and credential stuffing.

Unmanaged Device Access

Personal and unmanaged devices access corporate emails and files without verification.

Uncontrolled Data Movement

Sensitive files and customer personal data move freely through unsanctioned channels.

Permanent Administrative Access

Administrative accounts carry permanent, unmonitored privileges.

Unreviewed Alerting & Blindspots

Alerts trigger into unread dashboards while lateral movement goes undetected.

Buying additional licences or third-party bolt-ons rarely solves these issues. Real security comes from deliberate configuration, strict policy boundaries, and verifiable documentation. That is the work we do.

Engineered Outcomes

Five Outcome Areas

We organize our engineering around five clear outcomes. Each represents a measurable transformation in your security posture.

01. Only the right people get in

Stolen passwords stop being a disaster. We eliminate legacy authentication, enforce phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication, evaluate real-time sign-in risk, and replace permanent administrative accounts with time-limited role activation and regular access reviews. Automatic access adjustments apply when people join, move, or leave, where licensed.

02. Every laptop and phone under control

Company-owned or personal, every device accessing your systems meets defined security standards. We configure central management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Devices require disk encryption, health verification, and baseline security standards before gaining access. Unique local administrator passwords rotate automatically, and corporate data can be wiped remotely the moment hardware is reported missing.

03. Sensitive files stay where they belong

Confidential files, customer personal records, and strategic documents remain protected wherever they travel. We deploy structured sensitivity labels, persistent encryption, and dynamic watermarks tied to user identity. Real-time rules prevent sensitive records from leaving through email, chat, unapproved cloud storage, removable USB drives, or physical printing, backed by automated retention and defensible disposal schedules.

04. Attacks are caught early and contained

Ransomware, account takeovers, and email deception are intercepted before spreading. We implement multi-layered email defences, behaviour-based endpoint detection, and identity monitoring across your directory. Automated attack disruption isolates compromised machines and disables compromised accounts within seconds, supported by central security monitoring where your licences and Azure budget allow.

05. A secure Azure foundation from day one

Cloud infrastructure governed with disciplined technical boundaries. We implement structured management hierarchies, policy-driven architecture guardrails, network isolation, and web application protection. Your cloud footprint maintains continuous configuration oversight, with central security monitoring where your licences and Azure budget allow.

Architectural Reality

Cloud-Only or Hybrid: We Work With What You Have

Your infrastructure does not need to be rebuilt for security to take hold.

Many organisations operate with on-premises Active Directory domain controllers, legacy line-of-business applications, and hybrid identity synchronization. Others run entirely in the cloud. We design and implement configurations that fit your operational reality:

Hybrid Infrastructure

On-Premises + Cloud Synchronized

  • Synchronized hybrid identities: Protected with modern authentication, password hash protection, and step-up verification.
  • Coordinated endpoint management: Supporting both domain-joined workstations and cloud-enrolled laptops under unified compliance standards.
Cloud-Only & Edge

Modern Pure-Cloud & Zero Trust

  • Secure application access: Connect users through modern identity proxies without exposing internal network subnets to public traffic.
  • Unified threat visibility: Bridging on-premises directory signals with cloud threat detection into single-pane telemetry.
Compliance Engineering

Working Towards a Regulation?

NCA ECC · NCA DCC · Saudi PDPL · ISO/IEC 27001

We build the Microsoft side of it, and we tell you plainly which parts stay with your team.

Meeting a regulatory standard requires technical controls inside your systems alongside governance, policies, and physical protections within your organisation. We configure and document the technical controls in Microsoft 365 and Azure, providing evidence that your internal compliance teams and external auditors can verify.

Delivery Framework

How a Project Runs

We deliver projects through a structured six-step process designed to minimise operational disruption and ensure thorough documentation.

01 Phase 01

Assess

We examine your active Microsoft licences, current tenant configurations, identity architecture, and existing security gaps against your operational goals.

02 Phase 02

Plan

We present a detailed implementation blueprint specifying exact configuration targets, prerequisite dependencies, and a phased rollout schedule.

03 Phase 03

Build

We configure identity rules, device management profiles, data protection policies, and threat detection mechanisms in staging and pilot modes.

04 Phase 04

Fine-tune

We validate configurations with a designated pilot group, adjusting policy thresholds, resolving edge cases, and preventing user disruption before full deployment.

05 Phase 05

Document and hand over

We deliver complete, as-built technical documentation, operational runbooks, and configuration evidence your auditors can review, accompanied by a thorough handover session for your team.

06 Phase 06

We provide post-implementation guidance, periodic configuration reviews, and technical assistance during external audits or major organisational changes.

Clarity On Our Practice

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about licensing, business continuity, hybrid infrastructure, and technical compliance boundaries.

Do we need Microsoft 365 E5?

Not necessarily. Substantial security improvements can be engineered on Business Premium, E3, or standalone subscriptions. However, advanced capabilities such as automated dynamic watermarking, endpoint data loss prevention, privileged identity management, and automated attack disruption require specific licence tiers. What we can switch on depends on the Microsoft licences you already have. The assessment shows you exactly what is possible today and what would need an extra licence. We do not sell licences, so we have nothing to push.

Will staff be disrupted during implementation?

No. Security configurations should not halt business operations. We build and test policies using targeted pilot groups, report-only modes, and gradual enforcement rings. We verify that daily business workflows continue smoothly before applying policies across your entire workforce.

We still have on-premises Active Directory. Is that a problem?

Not at all. A significant portion of our work involves hybrid environments. We configure secure synchronization, protect legacy authentication paths, deploy hybrid identity monitoring, and establish unified endpoint policies across both local and cloud domains.

Will this make us compliant?

No software and no external consultant can deliver compliance on their own. Meeting a regulation depends on organizational governance, written administrative policies, human resources processes, and physical security measures that remain solely with your organisation. What we do is configure, test, and document the technological controls inside your Microsoft environment, giving you defensible evidence for your regulators and auditors.

Do you sell licences or hardware?

Never. We operate as an independent technical practice. We do not sell Microsoft licences, subscriptions, third-party software, or hardware appliances. You procure what you need through your existing channels; we provide the engineering expertise to configure and secure it.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. We deliver our engineering projects and technical advisory remotely to organisations across Saudi Arabia, the wider Gulf region, and international markets. Our work is conducted under strict least-privilege administrative access, scheduled within your operational hours, and documented at every stage.
